Goo Goo Dolls at KFC Yum! Center

Goo Goo Dolls join Def Leppard and The Struts at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 9, 2027. The event is listed on ticketslouisville.com under Concerts and Pop / Rock. Prices currently start around $120, with major arena concert tickets potentially reaching $500 or more depending on seat location and availability.

Goo Goo Dolls Biography

Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls developed from punk and alternative-rock beginnings into one of pop rock's best-known acts. The band is led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. Its breakthrough album, Dizzy Up the Girl (1998), delivered enduring songs including “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon.” “Iris,” a defining hit for the group, became a major radio staple and a signature singalong at live shows.

The band's catalog also includes “Name,” “Here Is Gone” and “Big Machine,” alongside newer material from Chaos in Bloom (2022). Goo Goo Dolls have continued touring across decades, balancing familiar radio favorites with deeper cuts and recent releases. Their guitar-led performances and emotionally direct songs give longtime fans and newer listeners plenty to connect with; “Iris” is especially likely to bring the crowd together.

At this Louisville date, Goo Goo Dolls share the bill with British rock band The Struts and headliners Def Leppard. No additional city-specific guest or opening-act details are provided for this event. The KFC Yum! Center brings the multi-act rock bill to downtown Louisville, offering a convenient central setting for concertgoers exploring the city before the show.

Venue and Seating Information

The KFC Yum! Center is a downtown arena designed for large concerts and other major events. Seating configurations can change by production, so the exact stage layout and available sections may vary for this show. Check the event's seating map before choosing tickets.

For a closer view of the performers, seats on the floor or in lower-level sections near the stage are often appealing, while elevated sections can provide a broader perspective on the full production. Sightlines depend on the stage arrangement, so review the map for potential obstructions before purchasing.

Parking Information

Parking availability and pricing can vary by event. Consider these general options when planning a visit to the arena:

• Nearby downtown garages and surface lots, subject to event-day availability and posted rates.
• Street parking, where permitted; check signs for time limits and restrictions.

Arriving early can help with finding a space and navigating event traffic. Confirm current parking arrangements and prices directly with the chosen facility before setting out, and follow posted restrictions when parking on downtown streets.
